Today, I said goodbye to blonde hair. I have been getting it colored for 10 years and just feel it is time for a break. So, I tried to get the color as close to my natural. (Garnier Fructise “acorn” light natural brown, #60) hopefully my hair can grow without discolored roots for a while!! I’m loving this new color. :)

Sometimes in life we upset people. Some people do it intentionally, others do it by accident. I am not the kind of person that runs around trying to upset people, especially over something petty. However, sometimes, things happen. The worst part is when it a trigger or domino effect. When one tiny thing you do can upset an entire family. It is the worst feeling, especially when I can’t stand when people are upset with me. I really can’t stand it. My greatest fear is that their hurt and anger will effect the opinions of others who are important in my life, mainly, my #1. I am hurt, but not only for myself, but for the hurt the I have caused.

Love this song

I just completed my last final!!! It was an online quiz. I can now say that I have successfully completed 9 semesters at OU. Only one more, and a December intersession course, until GRADUATION!!! It feels so good to say that! It also feels good to be on Christmas break… for a WHOLE MONTH!!! Even if it is 2:30 in the morning… and even if I do have to still be here in Norman for work tomorrow, and back up on Monday-Wednesday for more work! I honestly need the time with my kiddos to relax and “de-finalize” my life. On a lighter note… we will be performing the christmas play at church on Sunday. It is called “The Guiding Star” I am SO EXCITED!!!!! I love all of my cast-mates and my part is so much fun! :) I think I will go to sleep now. I was going to wake up early and take my exam,but since I just did it, I don’t have to. So, I will probably just sleep in, take it slow, wake up in enough time to shower, pack and get to work. Then, I can go HOME to MAC!! I cannot wait to see all of my friends and family, and of course my loving fiance. Have I mentioned that I am BLESSED? Cuz I am. Happy Christmas break to all, and to all a good night!

Another post about work… One of my 3rd graders was playing with Legos and said he was making something “Christmas-y”. This cross was the final product. He said it was because we wouldn’t have Christmas without Christ. I’m so truly blessed. PTL

With finals week full under way, and almost over, there has been added stress at work since all of my staff is worried about our own school. Our kiddos have been disrespectful and we have felt like they have not been listening at all. Although we may feel like this, some of them actually do listen and care about us. After announcements, which was stressful, one of my first grade girls came up to me and hugged me and said that I was the best teacher in the whole world. Later in the day, she brought me this picture. It brought me to tears as I remembers that I actually do love my job! It’s the small things…

My parents are on their way up to Norman RIGHT NOW! They are coming to get me, then we are going to OKC to pick up my wedding dress! We found the dress just a mere 24 days ago… they said it would take 4 months to get it… guess not! I’m SO excited to get my dress! The pictures is me in my dress, covered up by another picture from the day, with my maid of honor, matron of honor, and two of my bridesmaids. (I have 6 more) haha it was such a magical day! Today will be too! :) Happy weekend!!!

My Christmas List

So, I usually send my parents a powerpoint with all of my favorite things that I would like to have for Christmas. Some of them are really just silly… like one year (actually two years, in a row) I asked for a new car. I asked for Edward Cullen once. Anyway… I have yet to mention Pinterest… so here’s my chance! I made my christmas list on a board! Makes  it easy… and fun! (since I am completely pin-sessed (obsessed with Pinterest) lol I also made it SUPER easy for my fiance! haha also, because I have text him two things that I absolutely adore… at least that SHOULD make it easy! haha Now… to figure out what I’m getting everyone else!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! :)

Got this text from Barrett last-night… It made me smile! I am so truly blessed! :)

So, I have this friend, her name is Sara Kate, and she mentioned the word “tumblr” today and got me all kinds of interested. I am already friendly on facebook, and I am a typical tweeter. I have also more recently become a perpetual pinner… I guess this is just one more step. However, I have failed to mention that I am in the prime time of college right now… FINALS! I have approximately 17 days until Christmas Break. (PTL) Then, only ONE MORE SEMESTER!!!! So… if I do not post anything for a few days (or weeks) it is because I am busy wasting my life away in the library!! Happy Finals, everyone! :)
